Why we collect it. To establish whether investment materials may lawfully be sent to you under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the Financial Promotion Order 2005, to keep a record of the exemption relied on, and to respond to your request. Our lawful bases are compliance with a legal obligation, our legitimate interest in evidencing the basis on which materials were provided, and your consent for contact about investment matters.
Who sees it. GEMIA personnel handling investor relations, and our forms provider Tally, based in Belgium, which stores submissions within the European Economic Area. Your details are not sold and are not shared for marketing by anyone else.
How long we keep it. Your self-certification and the record of what was sent to you are kept for at least five years, so that GEMIA can evidence the basis on which investment materials were provided. Requests that do not proceed are deleted within twelve months.
Your rights. You may request access to your personal data, its correction or erasure, restriction of or objection to its processing, and its portability. You may withdraw consent at any time. Write to investor.communication@gemia.world. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to the supervisory authority in your own country if you are in the EEA. No decision about your request is made by automated means alone.
